    Hi there,

What would be the quote to have 6 circles (6 inches wide each) but from 1/4 in wood? Thanks!

    1. I am interested in cutting small pieces from 1/4″ acrylic sheets. I am in Texas. Do I need to send you the material, or do you have stock on hand?

    2. Another material I would like cut is 1/8″ or 1/4″ baltic birch plywood. I would like to build something shown on this web site: http://geekswithblogs.net/kobush/archive/2012/04/09/149258.aspx. The design may change slightly, so I will send you a different design file. Look like something you can do?

      Hi Robert,

We can definitely cut 1/4″ acrylic. We stock 1/4″ acrylic or you can supply your own. That arm looks awesome, we can definitely cut 1/4″ ply to make something like that. Just send a vector file to lola@lasersoverlosangeles.com or use the uploader on this page. Thanks

I was wondering if you can cut 1/32″ silicone rubber for a portfolio cover cover? The design is not set yet, but the from would be 8.5″ X 11″ with either a pattern or lettering on and the back just a blank 8.5″ X 11″ rectangle.

Thanks, and congrats on 5 stars on Yelp!

  4. What’s the thickest material you can handle, and what dimensions? I’m looking to have some parts cut out of 3/4″ thick baltic birch plywood, and they’ll be about 28″ diameter. I’d like to do as little manual cutting as possible, so if your cutter can handle 4′ x 4′ sheets of plywood, that would be fantastic….

    Thanks in advance!

      Hi Rick,

The thickest material we have cut so far is generally around 1/2″ solid wood or acrylic. The thickness is less with plywood because it’s harder to cut through the glues. The table we use is 24″x48″ and people have broken their files into smaller pieces and put them together after the cutting. Thanks

    Hello,

My friend Kiyoshi recommended you guys and maybe you can help me. I make paper toys and I was wondering if they could be cut so they can be punched out instead of having to use an xacto, scissors, etc. I’m a greenhorn at this so I don’t know if I would have to print them for you? They would be on standard card stock. Thank you and sorry for my noobness.

Hey no problem. We can definitely do that kind of work. The best is if you can send me a vector file like autocad or illustrator but I can generate a vector file from a hi-res black and white image as well. Email the file to lola@lasersoverlosangeles.com or use the contact form on this page to upload the image. The I can get you a quote real quick. Thanks

Forgot to mention that I’ll be using 3/8″ wood or mdf.

    • admin says:

      Hi Robert,

We can definitely take care of that for you. Please send the file you want to use (illustrator or dwg) to lola@lasersoverlosangeles.com along with the material and thickness you want to use and we can get you an estimate pretty quick. Thanks

    Hi,
I’d like to know if you are able to cut some wood panels for a project I’m working on. It involves 6 fairly simple pieces, all rounded rectangles with 4 of them missing their centers.
    Here are the measurements.
    2 panels-34″x20, 2 panels-13×15, 2 panels 8 1/2×11.
Would be greatful if you could get back to me ASAP, with pricing/time involved.

Would you be able to cut parts out of .064″ aluminum with 1mm holes? I’ll have to double check the size but I need tiny bolt holes either 1 or 1.5 mm.

    Hello,

i have two small abs switch panels with a 1/4 round radius along the perimeter. Would you be about to replicated them out of acrylic?

Also, I need some letters cut out of 1/8″ abs. The letters are not any standard font. can you work from a high res image of the work that i need cut?

    thank you,
    scott

  11. Paulina says:

I was wondering how much and how do you charge for laser cutting?

    • admin says:

      Hi Paulina,

The billing is based on two things:

1 The amount of cutting in the file you send me (dwg or illustrator file)

2 The type and thickness of material you want to cut

If you can send me those two things, I can get you an accurate quote usually in a few minutes.
